Nicolas Morton, 31, was charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, third- and first-degree sexual abuse, 13 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of forcible touching, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

According to Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, Morton is accused of making sexual comments during his travel team’s practices and other settings, insisting on players showing him their genitalia, and touching their intimate parts on multiple occasions.

Gonzalez stated that the players were between the ages of 12 and 14-year-old.

According to Gonzalez, Morton would sometimes refuse to allow athletes to stop difficult conditioning exercises unless they exposed themselves to him.

The DA’s office said that Morton allegedly threatened several boys on the team if they did not comply.

They also said that rumors began to circulate among the players’ parents in July 2024.

“The disturbing details of this case highlight the lasting damage such behavior inflicts on vulnerable youth, and we are committed to holding this defendant fully accountable,” Gonzalez said.

Morton’s employment was terminated in August and he is set to return to court on December 13th.
