Border patrol agents who have dealt with the chaotic influx of illegal foreigners being released into the U.S. are openly fed up with the Biden-Harris administration, reportedly threatening to leave in droves pending another Democrat-led administration.

“I’m not doing this s**t again … four years of hell,” an agent told the New York Post.

“Lots of guys who can retire will go. If Trump wins, they’ll stay,” another anonymous agent added.

The agency has already suffered high turnover rates, along with a sharp decline in morale pertaining to the policies of the Biden-Harris administration. It has seen over 4,000 agents leave since October 2020, which decreases the Border Patrol personnel to roughly 19,000 employees.

The decrease in morale has led the agency to even hire a suicidologist to assist extremely depressed and overworked agents who have acknowledged struggling with suicidal ideation.

A suicidologist is “someone who studies why people kill themselves and how this can be prevented,” according to Cambridge Dictionary.

The Border Patrol agency suffered a record high 15 suicides in 2022.

“The morale has never been as low in the Border Patrol, but under the Biden-Harris administration and her current ads, acting like she’s been pro-border security is just putting salt on an already gaping wound for the morale of [Border] Patrol agents and law enforcement,” stated former Yuma Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem.

“Kamala Harris has been bad for morale, for not only law enforcement around the country, but also for our border security personnel,” Clem continued.

In addition, the Border Patrol Union, which represents 16,000 affiliates, recently came out and “strongly” endorsed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“On behalf of the 16,000 men and women represented by the National Border Patrol Council, we strongly support and endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States,” it announced.

Despite Harris’s recruitment incentives for agents increasing by $20,000, the efforts have not stabilized to counter the number of agents leaving.

Multiple agents who wished to remain anonymous for fear of retribution, reportedly told the Post that they believe a Harris presidency would exacerbate the ongoing issues at the border, also leaving the agency in a larger staffing hole than it already is.

“Under this administration, they’ve done everything they could to make our job as inefficient as possible. They can’t outwardly tell us not to do our job, but when you’re watching criminals come in and get released it sucks,” an agent stated, reportedly wanting to remain anonymous out of fear of retribution.

“We will have another exodus just because we will have a bunch of 20-year agents saying peace out,” another anonymous agent stated.

As illegal immigration is one of the main issues American voters are concerned with, at least according to polls, the Biden-Harris administration has now begun claiming that they will tighten up the border due to re-election concerns.
