Outspoken San Francisco 49er star player Nick Bosa recently stated that his recent decision to wear a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat in an interview was “well worth it” following 47th President Donald Trump’s election win.

Bosa, 27, crashed his teammates post game interview while wearing his white and gold MAGA hat, in support of Trump, after a win against the Dallas Cowboys football team on September 27th, evoking mixed reactions.
During a recent locker room interview, reporters asked Bosa if he expected to be fined for the incident, to which Bosa responded, “I don’t know. I haven’t got one yet. If it comes, it comes.”
Bosa was also asked if he knew that the NFL could possibly fine him for wearing pro-Trump gear, prompting Bosa to respond, “Yeah, yeah. It was well worth it.”
The NFL rule book prevents players from wearing, displaying “or otherwise convey messages, through helmet decals, arm bands, jersey patches, mouthpieces, or other items affixed to game uniforms or equipment, which relate to political activities or causes.”
“I don’t think my position on speaking about it is gonna change, so clearly the nation spoke, and we got what we got,” Bosa added.
Social media commenters rushed to Bosa’s defense for refusing to depart from his stance, with one user responding, “They allow BLACK LIVES MATTER but no MAGA?! I stand with Nick Bosa, the nation has made its decision.”
“No more apologies for being American,” another user added.
Another fan spliced Fox News’ announcement of Trump’s victory together with Bosa highlights, along with the Y.M.C.A song, which frequently plays at Trump rallies.
Bosa continued, revealing that he stayed up late to watch the election results on Tuesday night, which ended in a Trump landslide.
“It was fun! It was a good time,” Bosa said.
Meanwhile, CBS Sport NFL insider Jonathan Jones recently stated that the NFL was reportedly “looking into” a possible fine for Bosa’s post game MAGA hat incident.
