The 45th president was already in Pennsylvania, campaigning at a rally in Latrobe the day prior.

In his private press box, the former GOP president was seen acknowledging fans as they were waving their “terrible towels” and expressing their support.

Former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, a prominent Trump supporter, also spoke at the Latrobe rally as well. He posted a selfie video on social media platforms where he expressed his excitement for game day as Trump walks down the passenger boarding stairs in the background.

Meanwhile, Brown’s former teammate, Le’Veon Bell, was also spotted at the rally. The two were seen outside of the stadium registering voters ahead of the deadline as massive crowds of Steeler fans registered to vote and meet former players.

Prior to the game, the Steelers team issued a statement warning fans to arrive early, as the organization was working with U.S. Secret Service to ensure everyone’s safety.

“With former President Trump expected to attend Sunday night’s game as a guest of an individual suite holder, we are working with Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans,” the statement read. “As always, we will work to make the fan experience the same as it always is for every Steelers home game at Acrisure Stadium.”

“We encourage fans to arrive early to the parking lots and to the gates so that they can enjoy our pregame experience and our celebrations throughout the game that will honor the 50th anniversary of our Super Bowl IX team,” the statement continued.

As the game went on, a woman from the crowd abruptly jumped onto the field and starting running while holding a Trump sign. However, she was quickly apprehended by security personnel.

Following the game’s ending, where the Steelers won 37-15 against the New York Jets, Trump sent out a post, thanking all the fans for their support.

“Thank you to the Steelers fans for the great reception tonight,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “November 5th will be the most important in the history of our Country! MAGA 2024!!!”
