Former President Donald Trump responded to an interview his former friend, Oprah, conducted with Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump recalled the time when he and his family went on Oprah’s talk show on the final week of the show’s finale in 2011.
“A long time ago, Oprah Winfrey asked me to do her last Network Television Show. The final week of her show was a big deal, and it was my honor, with my family, to do it,” Trump wrote.
Harris’s recent appearance on the show was live streamed on September 19th, which resulted in a viral controversial clip of Harris stating, “If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,” which she immediately walked back stating, “Sorry. Probably shouldn’t have said that. But my staff will deal with that later.”
Trump continued on, stating that he doesn’t believe Oprah was being genuine during the interview.
“When I watched her interview yesterday with a woman who is destroying, through her complete and total incompetence, America, I couldn’t help but think this isn’t the real Oprah, this isn’t a person that wants millions of people, from prisons and mental institutions, and terrorists, drug dealers, and human traffickers, from all over the World, pouring into our Country,” Trump continued.
Additionally, Trump spoke about the interview at his North Carolina rally on Saturday, stating that Winfrey “didn’t know what the hell to do,” regarding the Harris interview.
“Oprah was, like, embarrassed, she wanted to hide under the table but she’s a professional and she was able to sort of disguise it. No, she wanted to go right under the table,” he told rally-goers.
Harris’s appearance on Winfrey’s show garnered over 300,000 viewers during the livestream where they discussed immigration, abortion, the economy, as well as gun violence.
“Kamala looked really foolish, couldn’t answer the simplest of questions on inflation, the Cost of Goods, or our very porous and dangerous Border – No leader there, and Oprah just wanted to crawl under a table! Comrade Kamala Harris is mentally unfit to be President. She knows it, and so does everyone else!” Trump added.
Winfrey, who was close with Trump decades ago, has recently endorsed Harris for president at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) last month, criticizing Trump without mentioning him directly.
“This is the moment that people who are tired of all of the bickering and all of the name calling, people who are exhausted by the craziness and the made-up stories and the conspiracies,” she stated during her speech at the DNC.
“This is the moment. You want to get on with your life because you know that we can do better and that we deserve better,” she continued.
