According to the Independent, the two bodies were recovered on Wednesday.
However, the bodies were not immediately identified, although sources told the New York Post that one of he bodies was a “heavy-built man.”
Those missing include British tech tycoon Mike Lynch, his 18-year-old daughter, Hannah, Morgan Stanley chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife, Judy Bloomer, New York City lawyer Christopher Morvillo and his jewelry designer wife, Neda Morvillo.
They have been missing since early Monday, when the Bayesian was caught in the storm while off the coast of Porticello near Palermo, with 15 of the 22 people aboard surviving.
The superyacht, which was built by Italian shipbuilder Perini Navi in 2008, the U.K.-registered yacht can carry 12 guests and a crew of up to 10, according to online specialist boating sites.
Lynch was acquitted of fraud by a San Francisco jury in a massive case earlier this year, which involved the sale of his software company Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard for $11 billion.
Meanwhile, the sailing vacation was destined to be a celebration for Lynch.
Lynch’s co-defendant Stephen Chamberlain was not aboard the superyacht, after a car hit and killed Chamberlain on Saturday, while he was jogging in a village about 68 miles north of London, according to local police.
