A mobile health clinic operated by Planned Parenthood is providing free vasectomies and distributing controversial “party goods,” as described by one Kamala Harris supporter, during this week’s Democratic National Convention (DNC).

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers announced on X (Twitter) that on August 19th and 20th, it will be offering free abortion medication and vasectomies from its van, which will be parked in the city’s West Loop, just a short distance from the United Center, the official site of the Democratic National Convention.
PPH is collaborating with the Chicago-based hot dog eatery “The Wieners Circle” and The Chicago Abortion Fund. Nevertheless, services are only available by appointment.
The pop-up clinic supports the strongly pro-abortion stance of Vice President Kamala Harris. The 2024 Democrat candidate, who previously referred to abortion as a “fundamental freedom” in an MSNBC interview, is in support of legalizing it nationwide.
“As a Senator, she co-sponsored legislation that would ban states from imposing restrictions on abortion rights, and voted against a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy,” Time Magazine reported.
In addition, Harris asserted that “everything is at stake” in the 2024 election with regard to “women’s reproductive rights,” citing the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
However, Harris has also falsely claimed that if Donald Trump was re-elected, he would ban all abortions throughout the U.S.
In reality, the former GOP president has repeatedly said that he will leave it up to the states to decide for themselves. Trump has also expressed that even though he is not particularly in favor of it, pregnancies in cases of rape, incest, or situations where the mother’s life is at risk are much more dire examples of when an abortion could be needed.
Just one month after the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the four-day DNC event starts on August 19th.
On August 2nd, Harris officially announced her candidacy as the Democratic Party’s nominee, winning enough delegates in a virtual roll call to secure the position. Since then, Harris has declared Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate.
Among the Democrat leaders scheduled to appear are President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. At least 5,000 delegates are anticipated among the more than 50,000 attendees in Chicago.
