Meredith O’Rourke, a Tallahassee native whose LinkedIn position states that she’s a “National Finance Director and Senior Advisor” for Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, is listed as the organizer of the online fundraiser.

As of Monday morning, the GoFundMe blew past its $1 million goal with $4 million in donations coming in.

Additionally, as of July 15th, 2024, at 1:40 p.m. PST, the page now shows “$4,355,168” has been donated.

Some of the top donors included in the GoFundMe were musician Kid Rock and UFC president Dana White, who both gave $50,000. Florida Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and his wife Ann also donated $50,000 as well to the cause.

Other top donations included $30,000 from entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and $25,000 from entrepreneur John Shahidi. Popular conservative commentator Ben Shapiro donated $15,000.

Meanwhile, the fund has received over 52,000 donations as of Monday morning.

Former fire chief Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed in the crosshairs of the attack as he protected his wife and two daughters. David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, also sustained critical injuries, but are now listed as “stable.” All three men are Pennsylvania natives.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.) on Sunday ordered state flags to fly at half-staff in order to honor the shooting victims. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-Va.) directed his state to do the same Monday.
