Biden will be back in Michigan for the fourth time this year on Friday.

A group of 14 Detroit are state lawmakers issued a letter on Thursday, expressing “unwavering support for Biden.”

They say that he is the “rightful choice” to be the party’s nominee.

Biden appears to be facing growing opposition within the Democrat Party. Even former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) now reportedly working behind the scenes to get the president to reconsider his commitment to running.

Voters, especially in swing states like Michigan, are saying its too late for a new Democrat candidate.

The Biden campaign is banking on Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to get him to the necessary 270 electoral votes to win.

Based on an aggregate of 56 polls, Biden carries a lead of just 4% over Trump in Michigan.
