On Wednesday, U.S. Marshals arrested 22-year-old Amarion Sanders again during a traffic stop after he was mistakenly released on Monday from the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center in Cleveland, where he was being held on a $1 million bond.

Charges against a man in a separate case were dropped, and it was discovered that the defendant’s court case number had been entered incorrectly, prompting the jail to release him.

The scheduled date of Sanders’ trial was set for August 19th.

He has continuously maintained his innocence, despite being charged with aggravated murder in relation to a shooting that occurred in Cleveland, Ohio, back in September last year.

The U.S. Marshals Service was among the local, state, and federal law enforcement organizations that assisted in Sanders’ search.
