A newly released surveillance video from 2016 shows Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs kicking and dragging former girlfriend Cassie Ventura after forcefully pushing her to the ground at a hotel.

The footage appeared to show Ventura trying to board an elevator while holding her possessions, which appears to be when the physical incident began. Then, as Diddy sprints down the hotel hallway, he appears, wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist.
As shown in the video that was obtained by CNN, the well-known rapper and music mogul grabs Ventura by the back of her neck, throws her to the ground, and begins kicking her while continuing to hold the towel around his waist.
The video was shot in the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, on March 5th, 2016.
The incident was filmed from many camera angles, and according to CNN, it appears to fit the description of the assault that Ventura claimed in her now-settled federal case that was filed in November.
While Ventura’s body remained still on the floor, Diddy could be seen in the video taking something that looked like a purse and a suitcase that were next to her. She laid there for four seconds as the well-known rapper kicked her twice. Diddy then went on to drag Ventura by her hoodie toward the direction she had originally come from. After that, he just leaves her lying there and walks away.
Later in the video, Ventura collects herself and slowly stands up, taking her belongings off the floor and walking over to a hotel phone next to the elevators.
Still wearing a towel, Diddy reappears in the frame of the camera and appears to push Ventura once again. The next scene in the video shows Diddy grabbing an object from a table while seated on a chair and hurling it violently towards Ventura.
“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,” said Douglas H. Wigdor, Ventura’s lawyer.
“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light,” Wigdor added.
The Department of Homeland Security recently conducted two simultaneous raids on the rapper’s properties as he is facing sex trafficking and sexual abuse charges.
