Stormy Daniels’s husband says that there is a “good chance” the couple will flee the country in the event that former President Trump is found not guilty in the New York “hush money” trial.

In December 2022, Daniels entered into her fourth and current marriage when she wed fellow adult film actor Barrett Blade. However, Daniels has mainly avoided drawing attention to her current husband outside of their marriage announcement.

She has also been seemingly fixated on Trump for years.

“Daniels, who once said she’s ‘smarter than your average stripper,’ left her job as a porn director in 2018 and launched a “Make America Horny Again” tour where she paraded around the U.S. and sold tickets to those who wanted to see her perform,” The Daily Beast reported.

On CNN, Blade noted that Daniels would still experience conflict and fierce opposition from supporters of the GOP presidential nominee, no matter what the outcome is.

“I don’t think it gets better for her. I think if [he] is not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we’ll probably vacate this country,” Stormy’s husband, Barrett Blade, told CNN’s Erin Burnett during his Tuesday media appearance.

He claimed that the two of them would love to “move on” with their lives, but he expressed doubt that it would ever happen.

“I don’t see it as a win situation either way,” Blade said on Tuesday. “I know that we would like to get on with our lives. I know that she wants to move past this. We just want to do what I guess you’d say normal people get to do, in some aspects. But I don’t know if that ever will be, you know, and it breaks my heart.”

“It breaks my heart some of the things that she has to go through that people don’t realize,” he added.

Daniels gave testimony about her alleged sexual encounter with Trump during the trial last week. During cross-examination, Susan Necheles, Trump’s attorney, undermined Daniels’s credibility by accusing her of fabricating the affair in order to profit from it, painting Daniels as an untrustworthy witness.

Necheles also highlighted how her current recounting of the affair has been altered in comparison to her original story. However, Stormy claims that she began to remember more details later on.

According to WXIA-TV News, an NBC affiliate, back in 2018, Stormy did in fact deny having an affair with Trump and even signed her name on a document stating so. Nevertheless, Stormy later claimed that she was “pressured” into signing the denial document.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, is accused of having paid Daniels $130,000 at the close of the 2016 presidential campaign to allegedly prevent her from disclosing the alleged 2006 affair.

Meanwhile, Trump has refuted both the affair and the accusations.
