The judge at Donald Trump’s hush money trial chastised prosecutors about the “degree of detail” porn star Stormy Daniels went into as she delivered an animated testimony in a Manhattan court on Tuesday.

Judge Juan Merchan sustained an objection by Trump’s lawyers to the graphic testimony from Daniels, noting that “the degree of detail” was “unnecessary.”
Jurors were struggling to keep a straight face as Daniels recounted that she spanked the 45th president with a magazine, but they did not react when she discussed a past encounter of having sex with Trump, on a hotel bed in “the missionary position” in 2006.
The fast-talking and on edge Daniels, said the sexual encounter was “brief” and noted it concerned her that Trump wasn’t wearing a condom at the time.
Daniels did a lot of gestures throughout the courtroom with her hands, as she recalled her night with the former president when she “pretty much had enough of his arrogance” and lost it telling him “someone should spank you with that.”
The porn star was referring to a magazine that Trump’s face was on the cover of and which she rolled up and “swatted him” with it, she claimed in her testimony, which drew smirks from multiple jurors.
She then stated earlier that night, Trump showed Daniels photos, to which she responded, “Oh, what about your wife?” Referring to Melania whom Trump married a year earlier.
“He said, don’t worry about that, we don’t even sleep in the same room,” Daniels testified, prompting Trump to shake his head from his seat at the defense table.
Trump sat hunched over during the testimony, motioning to his defense attorney Susan Nechele, who asked the judge for several objections that were sustained by Merchan.
The adult film star glanced over at the former president and stated that she met Trump at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe when she was 27 in 2006.
She then claimed that the two exchanged a conversation, leading to their eventual hook up.
Daniels’ publicist told her to skip a work event and to instead go see Trump because it would “make a great story,” the porn star recalled.
However, the meeting only happened because Daniels met with Trump’s security guard Keith Schiller earlier in the day.
She then claimed that she went to his hotel suite only to find Trump in Hugh Hefner- style “silk or satin” pajamas, which Daniels told him to change out of.
In spite of having her then-boyfriend and former publicist at the time, the adult film star said she didn’t want to tell anyone because she felt “ashamed.”
Meanwhile, the former president is charged with having his former lawyer Michael Cohen pay Daniels $130,000 in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election in order to keep her from going public about her claim they hooked up when he was married.
He is accused of trying to then cover-up the “hush money” payment by writing it off as a legal expense.
Trump has denied all charges and has claimed it is a politically motivated witch hunt against him.
