While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict rages on and Hamas terrorists are reportedly holding both Americans and Israelis hostage, President Joe Biden was under heavy criticism for his decision to host a barbecue at the White House on Sunday.

“While Hamas holds Americans hostage, Joe Biden is enjoying a picnic with a live band,” Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley said on X, formerly known as Twitter. He also attached a screen shot of a White House Pool report.
Hawley was also joined by other conservative officials in denouncing the White House for the event on social media.
One reporter could hear a “live band” in the White House, according to the pool report, which was sent over email shortly after 6 p.m. on Sunday.
“In the late afternoon and early evening, a live band could be heard coming from the area near the Rose Garden. Your pooler asked why a band was playing. From the White House: The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence Staff and their families,” the pool reporter said.
The BBQ event comes after the Israeli government formally declared war on Hamas on Sunday, the first time the nation had done so since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.
Incoming reports stated that the Islamic terrorist group has kidnapped several people during the strikes, including innocent women and children.
With turmoil rising, U.S. officials are currently trying to determine how many American citizens have been murdered and how many have been taken as hostages.
