Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was hospitalized on Monday in Orlando, Florida with “abdominal pain.”

His hospitalization was reported by Brazil’s O Globo newspaper. In addition, members of Bolsonaro’s family told the Associated Press that his condition was “not worrying.”

The former president has suffered a history of health concerns. He has been hospitalized multiple times for intestinal blockages. In 2018, Bolsonaro suffered intestinal damage after he was stabbed at a campaign rally.

The politician arrived in the United States just days prior to his successor’s inauguration. He has refused to attend the inauguration and has yet to concede defeat.
